Latest Report09/07/07 Owing to unpredictable weather I have decided to leave the boat on the Isle of Wight and p*** off to the South of France. Hopefully the weather will get better for late July so we may do Cowes Week which is 4th to 11th August. 25/06/07 We completed our first round the island race coming 54th in class out of 207 boats. This was a respectable 436th overall out of nearly 1800 boats. I was very encouraged by the talent displayed by AWG on the helm; seems he has come into his own and is a natural at the wheel. Mark continued to be reliable and steadfast on the foredeck and Lou was rock solid in the pit. New comer Philippa proved she had much more to offer than excellent food and hospitality. Her role in keeping a watch and adjusting trim was vital to the overall success of the day. Thanks to you all for making the day such a success...
